Our Story
Passion for Animals
Owner & Founder, Jessica Agredano

My name is Jessica Agredano, I started The Collar Club in 2017 with one simple mission: to give pet parents peace of mind by providing reliable, trustworthy, and loving care for their pets while they’re away.

My passion for animals began when I was a child—I was always the kid outside playing with any animal I could find. That love only grew stronger over the years. In 2006, I graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Science, and since then I’ve gained extensive hands-on experience with animals both large and small. From playful puppies and kittens to horses and livestock, I understand the unique needs of different pets and treat each one with the same care and respect.

Every day, I bring my experience, dedication, and heart into caring for each pet as if they were my own. While I take pride in providing professional service to my clients, the true reason I do this is simple: your pets.
Head Sitter, Kathleen Chester

Hi! My name is Kathleen Chester, and I have looked after the pets of friends and neighbors for many years. When I started working for the Collar Club years ago in 2020, I couldn’t believe my good fortune. I have always been very good with animals, especially dogs. I loved spending time and caring for all types of animals since I was a small child. Whether it was a cat, a dog, farm animals or those with scales, fins or feathers I wanted to be with them. I’m a Tucson native, I did move away for some time living in rural Indiana, but the old pueblo called me back. I returned in 2009 and now live in the South Vail Area.

I learned my dog training skills at Gradian K-9 school of Dog training in Kokomo Indiana. I now own Katalina’s K-9 and breed and train working line German shepherds. Many of my pups have gone into search and rescue and are now working for various search and rescue teams in many states. Others have gone on to become personal service animals! When living in Indiana, my family owned a large farm and I became familiar with the care of the animals there.

If you were to ask some of my clients, they would say I have a certain way of connecting with animals. In addition to the dogs, I have owned many other types of animals throughout my lifetime. Such as cats, birds, fish, ferrets assorted rodents, turtles, lizards snakes and horses.
I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets when you’re away. My goal is to make you comfortable in knowing that in your absence, your pets are well cared for and loved.
